Guest guest
Hello. Many of you have heard that the riding center that the Horse Boy Foundation operated in Elgin burned down recently. We'd like to let everyone know that we have now re-opened at 374 Arbuckle Road. This is right next door to our own house, only 10 minutes away from our old premises. (For those of you who have read Rupert Isaacson's book The Horse Boy, the new place is on our neighbor Stafford's land and Betsy, the horse on which our son Rowan first learned to speak, will be one of the horses used by the center.) We also have a new person coordinating riding playdates named Iliane Borge. If you want to schedule a time to come out and ride with your child, please contact her at iborge@... or else call her at . Also, we're still happy to receive donations of tack, furniture (and of course money) to outfit the new place. If you're able to give anything, please contact Rupert Isaacson at or else go to: horseboyfoundation.org Thanks so much! Neff
