Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Today I did FIRM Bootcamp Max Calorie burn w/ . It has been a couple of years since I did this one. It was fun and challenging. The workout alternates a section of "plyo" (that also includes light weight training, with a sort of functional fitness component) and "cardio" (pure cardio moves). I went light on the weights for the weighted sections since I did Sculpt 5/6 the day before and plan to do some type of weight workout tomorrow a.m. (either Sculpt 5/6 or something else). I think there were 3 plyo sections and 3 cardio sections plus a core/ab routine that blended standing and floorwork. did a nice job w/ this one - Allie was a backgrounder and so was Sue Mi. Sue demonstrated the beginner mods. Afterwards I did 10 Min Solution Yoga for Beginners - Stress Relief SEction. I'm not sure who the instructor is for this one - Angie? But this one came in a kit w/ a strap and this particular segment was gentle and just focused on stretching. So, I'm looking at Jill MIller's Yoga at Home Series again. It gets good reviews on VideoFitness and a lot of people have claimed benefits from it. Carol - are you still doing it, still liking it, etc? I like the idea of the 2 shorter sessions and the one longer one on each disk. Sounds like a good way for me to get back into yoga. However, I do admit I ahve a ton of yoga that I can be using, so that is what is making me hesitate. Well, b'days and holidays are coming up - so maybe I'll get a little cash to try this out! Oddly, I'm still in my phase where I"m not dying for anything new - workout-wise. This has been going on for a few months now. Weird for me. But, also good as I'm saving money! I am also not dying for variety, I'm happy at the moment to be following the P90 Masters plan, even if it means repeating workouts. I guess it is a phase, and probably one I should be thankful for. Take care! Donna
