Cat! Cat! Cat!

I remember you, your posts and your formulas which you so generously shared on

the SoapDish Forum a few years back! I was inspired by your creations and

learned to work with Essential oils and fragrance oils to create on-of-a-kind

scents for my handcrafted soap business. I began to keep a file of my formulas

and added to it over the years as I found the inspiration. I even went through

a period of about 3 months a few years back when I did almost nothing but create

new formulas! I am astounded to look at my file which as of last night has 3055

formulas in it.

I lurk here to absorb what I can about fragrance and will eventually venture

into making perfumes. I like the old perfumes that you mentioned and see a

place for that kind of traditional fragrance using Essential oils in today's

market. So who knows! Thanks again for your inspiration!

Hi :

Glad to " see " you here! You sent me a small sample of one of your wonderful

colognes a few years ago and I remember it was one of the best men's fragrances

(commercial or otherwise) that I had smelled!

Folks, has brought up a very good point: Always, ALWAYS write your

experiments down! Even if they are the most insignificant thing, WRITE IT DOWN!

You can't imagine the frustration with trying (and failing miserably) to

replicate a blend from memory because I thought I could remember it!

Cat (still slightly-upset over that!)
