Guest guest
Does anybody have some research or ideas/experience as to whether therabands (rubber bands) have some benefit in a therapeutic sense? If one was to look at shoulder rehab, you'll find that as the arm moves the rubber band away from its fixed point, the resistance increases. Thus the load isn't constant and it would really be training the last part of the movement? Is it then valuable for rehab if only a portion of the movement is being trained? [Yes - and it also helps not to keep one end always fixed - move the band so as not to overstress the injured muscle as the range of movement increases. Guest guest
I've heard of people using a Bowflex or Total Gym for BFL. I've also known lots of BFLers who use bands for travel workouts or injury rehab. I don't remember anybody doing a whole 12 weeks with resistance bands. If you try it, be sure to report back. > hey there, > > long time lurker coming back into the fold again. was wondering whether > anyone knew about anybody doing BFL using therabands instead of actual > weights? > > thanks! > ~sher > -------------- > http://www.wrekehavoc.com > > >
