Guest guest Posted October 30, 2010 Report Share Posted October 30, 2010 I absolutely loved yesterday's workout. I did Disk 13 of STS, which was chest and shoulders. I hit my weight goals for almost every set. Cathe does drop sets, lower reps, and heavier weights. I didn't realized that this would be a longer workout, and I hadn't planned a bike commute, so had to run/walk almost all the way to the train. That's about a mile door to door. I walked in the evening. I am going to love this mesocycle. I can tell that I'm going to need to make sure to sleep well and continue to eat really clean. When I got to work, I was already hungry, even though I had refueled after the workout. I didn't need much of a post workout refueling after mesocycle 1 workouts because my body is more adapted, so I'm going to tweak my refueling this time around. It worked out OK because I had brought my lunch. I ate most of it early, and then had lighter, smaller meals the rest of the day. It worked out beautifully. I am nicely sore today! I am taking a rest day today. I haven't decided whether to ride tomorrow or do legs tomorrow. If the sun is shining, I should ride. The rains have started. Happy workouts!
