Ahhh... I love The FIRM. I haven't done Vol. 4 in forever and it felt goooood. Even Kai's cueing didn't bug me hardly at all and it always drove me nuts in the past. I figured out her pattern and was able to anticipate what was coming next most of the time and followed it fairly well most of the time (except the warmup, I was all over the place on that). I forgot, however, about how fast they change weights and equipment and was annoyed by having to keep pausing the tape so I could start the reps with them. I also forgot about how they magically aren't wearing any shoes for the stretch without there being a take our shoes off cue or showing them doing it. I laughed at it this time instead of being annoyed. (Maybe I was in a better mood?) I like how always tells you what weight ranges to use instead of just "heavy weights." I picked the lower end of each range and that was good for most exercises. I went too heavy for bent over rows though. I had one foot on my fanny lifter (this workout uses an 8-10" step so I used just the 8" step part) and used 15s but would have been better with 12s. My back hurts a little bit now but it will probably be okay tomorrow and I've learned my lesson. I was hesitant at first to go with weights as heavy as she was suggesting but went with it anyway and was thrilled that except for that one, it went really well. I tend to underestimate what i can handle so being pushed to do more is good.

Okay kid home in a second. Wanted to post my bit of accountability. Sorry for no replies from me lately but will soon!!
