Guest guest
Well, they still don't really know anything.they did find blood in his lungs when they did a bronchoscopy, but older blood, and it didn't originate in the lungs, they don't have a clue where it came from. And they don't want to consider any cause that is not smoking related since he is a smoker.I did finally get nasty about things with them, and they did a CT of the sinuses yesterday evening. We'll have those results sometime today.Just seem to me that if the bleeding didn't start in the lungs, that it either had to come from the top of the head down, or from the bottom of the feet up.But, when I ask about all these things, I keep keeping the same response to every question I ask "but he's a smoker".I GET that already! geez!but that's not the only thing that can cause a person to cough up blood, there's ALL kinds of things that can cause it.I have a call in to the physician's assistant that he sees locally when he needs to go to the doc to see if maybe he can get anywhere with these moronic idiots. So, that's where we're at right now, and they haven't released him yet. Thanks everyone so very much for all the well wishes. Wish I could respond to everyone individually, but I have literally hundreds and hundreds of messages.Thank you everyone for being there for us. Sure makes it a lot easier to deal with things.Deb
