Guest guest
I am constantly being told that I am: 1) " obssessed " with working out and eating clean. 2) dont need to workout and eat clean since i look great. (duh id gain weight if i stopped!) 3) look great even with a couple extra pounds, so whats the big deal. 4) now cindy, you dont want to look too skinny, here have a piece of cake. 5) your insane to get up at 4am to workout. 6) you eat 6 meals a day, thats nuts. 7) you work out 6 days a week, are you crazy? 8) who cares how you look in a bikini. you look fine. 9) you actually cook all that food!!!! 10) so, why are you doing this to yourself? the comment i despise the most is number one. probably since i do have mild OCD and am very aware of when i obssess about something. this, however, is just a lifestyle change that the people who said these things to me cant, for whatever reason, understand. because of all these comments, ive limited my flow of info. basically this board is the only place i talk about my workouts and nutrition. yet, even with this change , i still get comments. someone sees me eating clean. last nite we had a teachers meeting. everyone was eating the pizza that i, as the director bought for them. i was eating my meal 5. i got a lot of comments 6,4, and 2 after the meeting. its really very frustrating. but you learn to let it slide and do what you know is the right thing for you. its a long, hard lesson to learn tho! so best of luck! Guest guest
Wow!!! You get up at 4:00 A.M. to work out? Your an inspiration! I would love to get up that early and workout!!! Do you have children? As for the people who say stuff...let them talk and let them eat cake! Just smile!....You will be in the best shape of your life while they are living with bad habits that will eventually shorten their life, give them illnesses, and/or chronic pain in their older days!
