Guest guest
Iris & TLee, Thank you very much for your kind thoughts. You are very accurate with many of your observations. I have had to step back alittle more than the norm at this time, for how long I'm not real sure. There are several personal situations that I have had to really try and focus on. Not only with my wife, but with myself and the legal aspects. It took me several years to realize the cause of Sharon's condition which has been going on now for nine years. I suppose no matter how long you deal with this issue the victims, the professionals, emails, phone calls, research it really never seems to get any easier because there are so many that need our help. As a group we have come a long way and I strongly believe that this will be our year, but we must continue. Yes, all this has caught up with me, but I am far from being finished. It is just a time to regather my thoughts, my strength and once this is achieved will come back with a vengence. I didn't really want to make too much of this public, but I guess it goes to show how this can affect even the healthiest. So my thoughts and prayers goes out to the spouces and other family members that are experiencing the same emotional roller coaster, not knowing which end is up at times. No matter how hard you try or how much information, time or energy you spend educating the public you still receive horrifying phone calls from someone so desperate and in need of guidance and understanding. No matter what the situation you can never turn your back on these citizens. The stories are the same, just the names change. But yet we are told the " science " isn't there. Thank you for giving me the credit of a successful support group for those that have been exposed to mold and other environmental hazards. It is the largest support group on the net concerning this issue. The way it's been run comes from the great ground work that was started by Barbara Herskovitz, many supporters and personal opinons and the hard work by many to make it what it is today. My thanks goes out to Barbara for orginally starting this group. This is the reason why I have not been responding like I should to many posts. I've just been doing what I have to to get by and keeping any new information available to everyone. Hopefully things will start to settle down in the very near future. I know there are several board members that are at the end of their ropes and are in the worst position possible. My thoughts and prayers goes out to them and everyone else that are in need. Please don't give up, we need everyone of you. We all feed on each other strengths, knowledge and understanding. Sincerely, KC > > This is iris. Guest guest
Iris, You are special. To take your situation and in the midst of it think of others is what an angel is. You, Sharon and KC are alike that way. As are many, many others on this board that contribute unselfishly in the midst of their travails without expecting anything in return. Some correspond directly off-line, others on-line or both. Some do incredible research - I wonder " who " that is <grin>. Some are long lengthy narratives or political or only 2-3 words. I think " community " is another word that applies. KC and Sharon, you know how I feel but Iris is a reminder that I don't express my appreciation enough. And, yes, thanks to Barbara Herskovitz for starting it all. Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- > This is iris. I'm enduring alot right now as I'm sure many of > you are. Guest guest
I totally agree with all of you!! I want to personally thank KC and everyone. I have had times that I thought I couldn't go on one more day but with the help & support of this group I've made it. I don't post many comments but check the messages daily just to see what's going on . Knowing there are others out there like myself is a comfort. I pray every night that the world will wake up & understand the seriousness of our toxic indoor environments & include a special one for ALL of us. Some are much worse than others but we can make it with each others help and support. I live for the day that I can shout to all the naysayers " I TOLD YOU SO. " !!!!!! Thanks to everyone and stay well. Sue one word of response to all this: AMEN!! love ya, sharon & kc! vicki Re: [] KC and this site a blessing.. Iris, You are special. Guest guest
Okay, well I am going to throw in my two cents on the subject of what KC and Sharon do, too. Besides being angels, who selfishly give over and over again, even in the face of their own troubles caused by the matter, they are information central. Without them providing a source for information that is shared by many, much of what we know about the 'cause and effect' of not just mold itself, but the entire mold issue, would go unnoticed. I would go so far as to say that everyone on this board, and many who do not even know this board exists, have benefited from this vastly important public service that KC and Sharon provide. I know I have been able to help a few people from what I have learned from this cite. I would bet everyone else has, too. KC and Sharon, you really deserve much more than just a big pat on the backs for the number of lives you have made better by being who you are. But know that you are loved by many. Sharon K. Guest guest
KC and Sharon, You guys are the best. Thank you both for all this amazing information, I am so grateful. If there is anything I can do to help you through this just let me know. Your patience and kindness is unmatched, not to mention the countless hours spent on the phone with victims at no charge. I know for a fact how dedicated you are, I wish I could offer you more than my thanks.
Guest guest
Me toooooo! My neighbor and I likely would have given up long ago to prove the harm our old apartment building exposed us to and caused the death of her son - KC and this list have been repeated shots in the arm to keep going when everyone else tells us we're crazy. KC & Sharon (and many others here), your generosity is boundless and MUCH appreciated. Best, Haley ssr3351@... wrote: I totally agree with all of you!! I want to personally thank KC and everyone. Guest guest
I've said THANKS before but will say it again without KC and Sharon and you too Carl not sure I would have survived through my mold nightmare. I had no other help but this group. I never went to before except bunny groups couple years back and it just hit me one day to check for mold groups and I found and was like angels sent to help me b/c I surely felt helpless. THANKS EVERYBODY! Rhonda > > KC and Sharon, > > You guys are the best. Thank you both for all this amazing information, I > am so grateful.
