Guest guest
Velma I bought it from someone on this group through e-bay in US.I live in UK so had to import it. I cant remember who i bought it from but they had an order from a vodka company and they made too many so they sold the extra ones off cheap.(Feel free to speak up if its you lol) Its excellent for me, i buy a 5 litre bottle of spring water and my jar holds 6 litres. After drawing off the KT to bottle, the tap is set so far up, it keeps a little more than 10% in the jar for my next brew. All in all its ideal for me and makes excellent KT having a wide mouth with a lip to hold the elastic band and kitchen roll in place. If anyone lives in UK,i bought a clear straight glass vase from Asda at christmas which was 12 cm wide and 30 cm tall for £4.Its also ideal for KT and makes lovely round scobies too and holds quite a bit of KT. Its my hotel at the moment lol. www.simplytortoise.co.uk ________________________________ From: Velma Gallant <momtoeric@...> Kombucha Group <kombucha tea > Sent: Sun, 14 March, 2010 15:39:40 Subject: RE: My Kombucha set up Nice! I like the brewer you have. Looked it up online. Did you buy that at a liquor store? Where are you located? Just wondering if I can track one of those down around here (Canada). It takes me exactly ten days to get to the taste i like. My insulated cover, with heat mats slide off for easy access and i have a window in it so i can see whats going on inside. Every brew i have made since acquiring new scobies from Margret and have been perfect with none of my other mould problems that i had before with other scobies from someone else. I have put 3 pics of my kombucha in an album called My Kombucha set up in the photo section (when they are approved.Hope these pics help anyone who has a cold kitchen like me.
