Guest guest
, I checked with Blue Cross and they said that they do cover the Hizentra at 100%,so now I have to decide if we are going to make the switch sooner than later. Devin 15 PID, Mito causing GSD Connor 18 Mito causing FOD > > We are supposed to switch as well, but talked to the Vivaglobin resource center and we have about a year and a half to make the switch...now I will wait as long as I can, because I checked with my insurance and it is NON formulary right now!! and costs way more than the viva, I only pay 20 a month for the viva and it will double to 40 a month, they are saying if we wait...the insurance companies will come around and realize it has to be on the formulary list since they are taking viva off the market....we have Medical Mutual of Ohio. I am curious to those who have switched, have you actually checked on the pricing of it? Our viva is billed at $1,695 a month and the Hizentra will be $2,900...make sure you check into this > > Makenzie 9 > 20 > > > > >
