PROLOGUE discussion: Let's tell a little about ourselves like did

My name is Lori and I am a fifty eight year old former second grade

teacher, and mother of three...including our 22 year old son who had a stroke

when he was born. Because of the stroke he is moderately retarded, has epilepsy

which is usually controlled, and he happens to be Autistic. Although he is an

incredible kid who lives to work, he will always BE a kid and live with us.

Because we have our home set up for children, my husband and I are in the

process of becoming foster parents. I have been married for 37 years and the

last four have been really good. (I bet you can guess what that means about the

first 33. )

I hope this gives you a little of an image of who I am when I share her on

line. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you better. Lori
