How to pack/ship scoby and starter

Well, I think my problem is partially solved. I have been contacted by people

who would love to have one/some of my sobies! Any advice on how to pack/ship

for a cross country trip in HOT weather? First off, I am going to go priority

mail. I'm thinking put scoby and starter in a double zip loc bag, gently

squeeze out air and seal. Put this bag into a foodsaver bag and just seal it

without using the vacuum feature. That way it leaves room for carbonation to

form in this heat. My kombucha is pretty fizzzy. Will this safeguard against an

explosion? Then, these bags will go into a priority box (this person wants

several) How does this sound? How long can a scoby be kooped up in a

plastic bag with no air circulation?
