In looking on facebook, I find that Brittany Spears only has 3X as many as friends on her site. And in fact, has a strong backing of people who support him, believe in him, and strongly appreciate his efforts. I am aware that single handedly he twittered something like 3 million contacts he had from his work in the past year and a half, to get that legislation passed! In addition, I know he was invited, over the original legislation written up, to a private party for Obama in Hawaii the day after the inauguration. I know for a fact, because we wanted to go; and Fawn couldn't fly commercial on short notice. Because of the scanners. We did therapy on our disappointment & frustration. . In addition, he has met personally for us on my project (now before Wall Street for funding, with someone in Trump Towers), with ny Depp, Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Jim Fallon, and a producer for Hoffman. He was invited after the event I sent him to personally to the ny Depp Lounges on the Avenue of the Stars, to meet individually with each of them, an international modeling agency, and NBC. I had communications with him all during that night.

It's amazing, again, what he has to stand up against personally, to see this fight to the finish, for a cause that is so very unjust. What I really can't get over and over is why the American society has so much blind tolerance for it. Myself, I can hardly stomach the stories; and he stands up on behalf of the families everyday. In fact, I've called when he was devastated by a death, when he had been day in and day out with the child the week before and successfully gotten a good IEP for him but not followed-- a 9 year old!, killed at the hands of a jailer in a prison cell at a police station, strangled, who took him there out of the public school. When following an IEP, a qualified behavioralist, and bringing his parent in would have averted any negative behavior that he was showing, so frustrated, confused, and frightened.

I was just about to post the same thing. While Mr. has done some good things in his time, he has often misrepresented himself and his credentials and is in act under investigation by several law enforcement agencies.

I agree, everyone needs to be VERY proactive in who you choose to advocate for your child, and make sure you research their background thoroughly.

Something to consider, please. Check out who you hire to advocate for you.

Where I live the state attorney's office went after an attorney who had a

reputation in our area as THE spec. ed. attorney to go to. He wasn't

licensed to practice law here! Imagnine being entangled in that legal

headache as his client. He was expensive, but when you're desperate, you

mortgage your home, you sometimes don't think as rationally as you ought to.

Parent's did and some were his clients even as he was indicted. I've seen

some articles on Mr. and while I don't know if their true, please

look into any professional before you divulge private information to them or

pay them. Better to spend that time now getting to know about someones

reputation, than during a due process hearing when you've already paid a

large sum of money.
