Guest guest
sounds like something you breathed in. was the flight full? next time (if you have one) ask for a different seat once you're under way. for instance, you could be reacting to cleaning fluids that couldn't be pumped away by the air circulation system. did you notice a "new car" smell? namasté ---rk aidswriteorg@...From: "hoppefaith@..." <hoppefaith@...> Cc: Sent: Sunday, January 30, 2011 7:11 PMSubject: Re: very off topic.. any thoughts Today I flew from FLA to CA and had to change in Dallas. On the first flight, I sat in the first row in coach at the bulkhead at a window so I had a big wall very close to my face. ( I havent flown coach in years as I always use freq flier miles). So, about 10 minutes of being seated on a full flight, with 2 big guys between me and the aisle.. my lips and teeth went numb just like I was getting a novicaine injection.. After 5 minutes of this. I knew I had to get out of that seat. I went to the back of the plane and stood up for an hour or more, used the lav, etc.. When I went back to my seat , I felt weird again, so again, I went to the back of the plane for an hour or so. When I returned to my seat again, one of the seatmates offered to let me have the aisle seat, and then all was well. On my next flight, I had another bulkhead aisle seat and with no problem. Any ideas? I figure anxiety, but numb lips and teeth? thanks
