I am just having huge willpower issues right now, and I guess a little depression to ice my cake. I have been upping the exercise, but I have not been able to get thru one entire day without " cheating " . But I havent given up, I will keep trying. My goal is 10 lbs in 10 weeks. I will be in the 180s with pat then and then I will only have 20 lbs to go! lol My insurance denied me again, they are still refusing to pay for the reconstruction surgery. I sent in another rebutal and asked them how they can consider a hernia repair cosmetic as they refuse to even address that issue of the surgery. I also asked for Drs reports on the reasoning for their denials. They will all come in handy when my attorney gets a hold of them. I am thinking of hiring Walter Lindstrom...or maybe Nick. (who we havent heard from in quite a while. Hey Nick, are you out there?) I think this is part of my problem, then there are those who kick me when I am down. But I am down no longer. This weekend I cleaned out my closet and drawers and took 3 huge bags of clothing to the womens shelter. I do not own any clothes that are to big for me, or to small. I only have clothes that fit me- for the first time in my life....all my clothes fit. So there! And cleaning house, yep that is making me feel better... Oh, and Jo have you ever eaten at Cactus Valley Rest on Rosedale? They have a salad called the Tapoto salad. It has lettuce tomato, avocado refried beans on a corn tortilla all topped with chicken that has been grilled with a lime juice (that is kinda like the tacos at taco bell). Even the bad ones like vanity. I am finding my self more and more critical of things that never bothered me before. lol I do feel successful in my endeavor and have accomplished what I started out to do. Let's see how can we help you make your goal??? Can't make it through one day without cheating? What do you consider cheating? I think you should write down and tell us the changes that YOU want to make. Then chip away at them slowly...like if you have a list of 10 things you want to improve in you diet...list them and for week one work on only one improvement...then week two add another item from the list. Perhaps it won't seem so overwhelming. At the end of 10 weeks you will have succeeded in making 10 diet improvements....Then let us know what it is and you have to report to us if you succeeded that day/week. Yes I have ate at Cactus Valley before...but it has been awhile and I haven't had the Tapoto Salad...something that I am going to have to correct with your glowing report! What do you consider cheating? :::Cheating? well lets see, soft drinks (sugar), carbs (fries, chips, bread), candy....ice cream....anything other than protien actually... I think you should write down and tell us the changes that YOU want to make.
