Guest guest
Can you clarify? Are you saying the therapist is saying that the OCD may be caused by allergies? I haven't heard of this. What types of symptoms may be allergy related? Thanks. Guest guest
also wanted to mention she's such a sensory kid and I started the session by saying that most battles lately are clothing issues etc - OCD still there of course but most probs being caused by sensory - maybe that's what made the therapist say allergies (to fabrics etc)I think that's more tactile defensiveness from my OT knowledge but maybe she is allergic???? time will tell I hope Eileen Quoting " autumn71A@... Guest guest
I have heard of this, but I think it is a bit controvertial. I know a child in my son's class last year was abstaining from possible allergens. It did not cure all of his behaviors, but his mom said that when he is exposed to these substances, his behavior is very adversely affected. Bonnie > > Wow, no clue. Never heard of this.
