Guest guest
Hi, I am not new here but don't post often. I have an 11 year old son, during the last six months he has become increasingly aggressive and moody. He is on abilify, which I reluctantly increased after a visit with his doctor. All the supports we had in place that helped him move forward aren't working. I feel as though our (his and mine) years of hard work have been erased. His behaviors (yelling, talking fresh and tantruming from task avoidance or something he doesn't want) are keeping him back, it saddens me. I am not comfortable with medications but at this point I see no other way. I'd like to try the GFCF but my ex-husband will not follow it (sometimes he doesn't even give hum his meds) since we have shared custody that isn't an option. Any suggestions, or stories? Is this just a phase? Thanks for any input you may have. Jill
