Guest guest
For those who didn't catch the live streaming of Autism One, Arthur Krigsman's talk yesterday was excellent as usual. He developed a careful and thorough case for autistic enterocolitis having enough similarities to Crohns for the same treatments - anti-inflammatory meds - to be justified for both. Something I really liked in his talk was his use of the term " soft stool constipation " to describe our kids constipation. Maybe I've been asleep, but I've never heard this before - Krigsman acknowledged Simon Murch as the originator of the term. It is very resonant for me and I'd have thought for others who don't think their kids are constipated because they pass soft stools frequently. Also Krigsman doesn't think he's ever seen the classic hard impaction with overflow diarrhoea in any of his ASD kids - just the soft stool mega loading.
