Guest guest
Is there any evidence to support giving diflucan when compehensive stool tests show no fungal overgrowth? My daughter's panels have come back clear for years but she begins to get moody, has strange odors, etc. which remind me of her yeast days. When I've been able to talk a doctor into giving her a short course of diflucan in spite of negative test results, she is the best she's ever been. Natural antifungals do not give the same response. Any ideas what's going on and how I might convince a doctor to give a longer low dose course of diflucan and also if this is advisable or not? She does so great on it I wish she could be on it idefinitely! Thank you,
