Guest guest
Hi Guys, I'm new to this group. Just this Friday my Dr. told me that my HepC virus has manifested itself and that I will need to go through the 48 week drug treatment. (I knew that I had Hep C antigens in me since 2000) here's some questions: my first priority is to find a good doctor to get me through this therapy. I live in Brooklyn NY and the Doctor I saw is Dr.K. Iswara-eventhough he is very knowlagdable and caring, I'm not happy with his office support staff and I found it took him 3 days to return my phone call. Does anyone know this particular Dr? I also feel that I'd like to seek a second opinion, does anyone know of a Doctor in Brooklyn NY that they could reccomend to me? I'm sure that as time goes on I'll be asking more questions and maybe even answering someone elses querries, but for now this is my main concern. Thanks in advance. Liz and I both know another lady who successfully treated who lives in NY,, let me see if I can find out who her doc was so if you dont like the one you have as you said, you could possibly change to someone else, its SOOO important to have a good working relationship with the doc AND HIS STAFF,,,, I fired my gastro for some of these same reasons,, Ill get back to ya as soon as I can get a name for ya,, hugs and welcome jaxshiridov <shiridov@...> wrote: Hi Guys,I'm new to this group. Guest guest
My doctor isn’t in Brooklyn, but he’s not too far. He’s at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. Bernstein – 516 562-4281 Probably takes about 2 months to get an appointment to see him. So far, I’ve been happy with him.
