Hi ,

It's not one of the official rules of this group, but maybe should be.

Never, never feel guilty about feeling good! Then, we would know

that for sure some of our many prayers are being answered, if

from time to time someone in the group feels " good again! "

I am so happy for you ! A good time to celebrate and quit smoking

too....yes, I do wish you luck!

If no one ever felt " good " again, the rest would not have much hope

would they?? Keep on feeling good!!

Tricia

Wisconsin (brrrrrr...cold here)

I sat here quite awhile tring to figure out what to write, cause im acually

Today i acually feel normal again, but i know myself how tricky the dragon is

ill just cross my fingers and hope it continues.Even though this is very

hard to write knowing how so many of u are in pain,i just wanted u guys to

know that maybe theres hope.Ive kept a pretty solid attitude since being hit

with Stills, and im bound and determined even if it does decide to get worse

again to try my best everyday,so today ive decided to QUIT smoking thats it

Great !! On both counts. I think feeling good is what we live for

and I have been doing battle against cigarettes myself all week. I think

I'm doing very well and always good to have company. Smiles back to Canada

and yourself. Melt

Hello !

How do i understand you. I think im one of the " lucky " ones that had a

remission for about 15 years (i almost forgot i was ill:-) ) . Even when

this darn thing reapeared, the flares were not so intense and long as some

of our friends here in the list. I do take very few meds (2) and almost no

pain.

As for your decision to quit smoking HURRAH! Is a well known fact that

smoke afects badly our bodies, and when we're ill, its even worse, so please

if u feel week in that decision, be sure to know that there will be one

crazy portuguese to support you.

Be well,

Nuno

, good luck with the stop smoking thing, it sounds like you are

determined. I've know several people who did stop and had better

health. My brother used one of those inhalation nicotine things and did

really well with it. Take care, Louise.

Hi Rene Well from the studies I have read,, if you remain undetectible 6 months AFTER you have finished tx, then your chances are maybe 5% that you will relapse,, once you reach 2 years post tx and are still undetectible, the rate of relapse drops to 1-2%.. but they know it hides in scar tissue and so you really do need to stay away from alcohol as that lowers your immune system. Congrats on making 5 months,, you are getting there and thats always good news!!! jaxdrizzitg <drizzitg@...> wrote:
