Hi, My name is and I am new to this group. My 5 year old son has been tested for Aspergers. I won't know any details of his evaluation until Monday when I go back for a "Feedback Session". I live in Louisiana and there is a law that states insurance carriers must cover treatments for Autism/Asperger's. However, there is a clause in that law that states coverage applies to Group Policy Holder's. I am not part of a group policy b/c I am a small business owner and don't have the 75% of employees required to have group coverage. I have a policy that covers me and my two children. So, I will have no coverage for my sons treatment at all. Has anyone experienced problems like this? I am new to all this and Louisiana (I live 5 minutes outside of New Orleans) seems to have little resource information. I guess especially since Hurricane Katrina. It's just

frustrating. Just his evaluation was $600. I can't even begin to imagine what everything else is going to cost. Any feedback would be appreciated. Also, from any persons in Louisiana. Thanks,
