Guest guest
Kenzie will be ten this summer. He has been on Valtrex since 4/2/06. Lately (the last two weeks) he is experiencing violent rubbing on the floor. He's always rubbed himself when he's really tired. Now it is violent. He bites and screams and it's just awful. Is this part of the regression? Penny
Guest guest
Hello Penny, What you are describing is Precocious Puberty which is very common in autistics. Your son's testosterone is trapped in his body because the mercury is holding it. The best way to fix this is to use Lupron. Have you heard the Geiers talk about this? Listen to them here: http://www.autismmedia.org/media4.html If you can not go to the Geiers, you can have your son tested for precocious puberty and treated for it. Basically, they will test your son's testosterone levels. I'll bet you it is many times what it should be. I know the answer is usually "yeast" -- but if your son is getting more "violent", then you should act on this. The Geiers do a combination of chelation along with Lupron therapy. You may at least want to get your son tested. Good Luck.Penny Galloup <mcksmom@...> wrote: Kenzie will be ten this summer. He has been on Valtrex since 4/2/06. Guest guest
Hi Penny, THis could be caused by high histamines. My son, when he was 5 would have excessive boy behaviors as well. His histamines at the time were 154 with a reference range of 40-70 being normal. When we treat him for high histamines, those inappropriate behaviors went away. Here is a site that has a little more info on it. http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/articles/walshMP.htm High histamines cause aggression, frustration, OCD behaviors, sexual behaviors, sneezing, itching, inability to focus, explosive anger and I am sure there are tons of other things as well. Since it's allergy season (and a bad one at that from what I've heard), it would be understandable why it's so bad for him right now. Good ways to lower histamines are methionine, cal/mag, B6, TMG, NDF PLUS, Liver Life (just recently found that this helps my son with histamines), Vitamin C with bioflavanoids. I hope this helps! Guest guest
Hi , BioRay is who manufactures it. I work for them as a customer support for the asd community. You can go to BioRaynaturaldetox/ to see what others are seeing while using LL with their kids. There is a specific protocol for asd kids that is in the files on that site. One of the best distributers (least expensive) is http://www.thenaturalhealthadvocates.shoppingcartsplus.com/home.html If you are looking to lower histamines, you might start with methionine. It's very inexpensive and works very fast for my son. I hope this helps! Tami W Gavin's mom > > > > Kenzie will be ten this summer. Guest guest
Hi , My son was a Pfeiffer patient too. I learned so much from them including the histamine info. The Liver Life is an amazing product. It helps drain acids, restores healthy pH, normalizes liver enzymes and restores liver functions. The reports we are getting from parents who are using it on their asd kids are pretty impressive. Do you see Dr ? I think he's a really good doctor with a huge heart! Goodluck! Tami W Gavin's mom > >> > > >> > Kenzie will be ten this summer. Guest guest
Hi Tami, yes we do - we are in NZ, we have travelled to LA twice to see him and twice to Sydney, and now we have some trained Phieffer doctors in NZ which is fabulous - we still get our compounding done via Pheiffer - we are very pleased with his results etc Dr is just fabulous, its always nicer going with Doctors who have kids on the spectrum, they seem more willing to try things etc Love this group, am getting so much from it regards Re: violent masturbation Hi , My son was a Pfeiffer patient too.
