Maurine,

My son's nose used to run all of the time until I started giving him 2 caps

of OPC-3/per day and antioxidant. People who sell marketing america products

sell it. It's $65 for 90 caps, I stopped using it several times only to have my

son's nose start running again. He also takes singulair during the really high

pollen counts, but he's been fine without it for now. Good luck,

>I live with my grandson in what is considered the worst allergy area in the

country-this year has been the worst for him.  Antihistamines always worked for

him in the past but no longer.  I want to switch to MB12 nose spray, but cannot

until I can clear up his nose.  I bought children's(he is 8) sudafed, but am

afraid to use it as it will raise his blood prssure and could cause

hyperactivity.  Anyone have a suggestion of how to clear up his nose-any natural

products out there?  Thanks bunches. maurine

During high allergy season I increase the dose of quercitin that I give my son. My son also takes singular which seems to help and not cause any nasty side effects. For myself I use quercitin and MSM.

Quercetin is a bioflavonoid available in supplement form. I get it at our local health food store. From what I have read it should be taken in combination with vitamin C and bromelain - it helps with the absorption of vitamin C and it works synergistically with bromelain. Both vitamin C and bromelain are very good for my son, so I figured it was worth a try. He is so happy while taking it. I do not plan on stopping it after the allergy season is over.
