Guest guest
I'm really curious about what might be in that potion. Do you know? Can you tell us? There is an herbalist that posts here, I think its Ann, but I forget lots of things. Whoever it is can probably at least tell you if the stuff might harm you. Some stuff that won't hurt animals can seriously harm people. Be careful! You might end up with more hair that a Saint Bernard! Eat well, sleep well, be well! It sounds like you have a healthy acceptance about it in the meantime. Please know that I will keep you in my prayers, and if this crazy sounding UK potion works, I'll share! :)What has been your experience with post-Intereferon symptoms, if you don't mind me asking? I'm less afraid of failure and going back to square 1 than increased and further damage.God blessGinnyIt's a pleasure having you join in our conversations. I'm trusting it's nothing hideous. I've never tried alternative meds for anything so this is a first. I might end up looking like an English Jumping Horse, since some local English vet came up with it to treat them with (scary, eh?). Better that than a St Bernard? I just got the bag in the mail a few days ago, and it's green, and really strong smelling (in a good way) and packaged at home. All I can tell you is that it isn't Pot It hasn't hurt my German Shepherd thus far; she said to give it for his hot spots (skin allergies. My friend's 90 yr old mother has been on it for 6 years, so I'll try a little and see what happens. If I feel funny at all, it's over. She's keeping track of her good results -- she's an animal trainer..heh -- and since I was overdue to get labs done anyway, I offered to do that before starting. She is of the opinion that the Good Lord has provided us with an antidote for every malady on the planet, and it's up to us to find it. I'm a practicing Catholic and I believe God provides, but sometimes we are asked to suffer, so I am not getting my hopes up but am willing to give it a go. There's certainly nothing wrong with wanting to get better! We have a saying, " Pray like everything depends on God but act like everything depends on you! " . Acceptance either way gives me peace of soul. I just got back from having blood drawn, so I'll probably get my up to date viral load count in a few days. I'll have to dig through my garage to find my last results, which were more than a year ago (don't remember). I'll let you know when I find them, or else get a copy from the MD if my search fails. All I remember is that was markedly increased from the time before, and the specialist said, " Well, I've seen worse " . My enzymes were normal or almost normal but I know that's meaningless with this odd bug. As for worrying, I probably don't worry ENOUGH; my nerves are, happily, pretty dead. Actually, that's not true because they do act up when my kids come home late, etc etc, so perhaps it's just that I'm conserving them for when I need them! Guest guest
Hey! I asked my friend more about it and it turns out you can get it elsewhere -- it was home packed because she gave me some of hers. She buys it buy the 100 pounds for her race and jumping horses, dogs and relatives Yes, I'm putting my trust in HER know-how and experience. She knows the vet formulator from her neighborhood in rural Southern England where lots of traditional and even ancient European remedies are still in practice; It's the D-Tox http://www.naf-uk.com/accreditations.aspx?rdct=33673 I'm sure you're laughing by now! I'm only cringing God bless Ginny <~ not whinnying or barking yet, after the first dose.
Guest guest
Ginny, First, I STRONGLY suggest you do not take that substance until you find out what it is, and what it can do to you. Horse's may have an enzyme that you lack. Your friend's grandmother may have a natural immunity to something you do not. You may be allergic to this substance. You don't even know what it is! Please take a little time to understand this thing before you put it in your body. Secondly, I love the idea you expressed. "...the Good Lord has provided us with an antidote for every malady on the planet, and it's up to us to find it." I believe it is true, and shudder at the thought that so many plants and animals are becoming extinct before we understand their value to us. Have you ever heard of Dr. Bach? I really like his work, though when I tried using it to fight HCV I was unsuccessful. You may have better luck! You can read about him and his work here, and find his remedies all around the world. http://www.bachcentre.com/Ginny <htucker178@...> wrote: >> I'm really curious about what might be in that potion. Guest guest
OK. Good luck to you! It may be something like spirogyra, which I've never heard anything bad about, and is considered a suppliment. Just eating better, I believe would greatly benefit most Americans. I think the more varieties of things we eat, the healthier we become. Also staying away (when possible) from processed foods will do wonders for the whole body. I don't know if there are any "best" ways of consuming what you are taking, but as with honey, getting the most bang can depend on how you prepare it. You might want to make sure you are not harming it by cooking it, or conversely, not getting the most benefit by not cooking it. Good for you, and best of luck! Eat well, sleep well, be well!Ginny <htucker178@...> wrote: Hey! I asked my friend more about it and it turns out you can get it elsewhere -- it was home packed because she gave me some of hers. I could take a photos of it; it's really *different*. Looks to me like there's curry powder in it but someone else guessed Golden Seal. I don't know my herbs well enough to know for sure. Oh, my friend said she's had good luck treating asthmatics with it, too. Unfortunately my asthmatic son took one look and said, " Wait, where'd you get that??? " then, " NO WAY! " God bless Ginny
