I took a test yesterday for paraprofesional

Hi all!

I took a test to try to become a paraprofessional at the school district. Im getting burned out at the nursing home as a Nurse aide, and I want to work with elementary kids with special needs. It will take 2 weeks to get the results (not on the computer) and then I can apply when I pass. Either as a paraprofessional with special needs kids or an autism coach with just ASD kids. I think I would enjoy the Autism coach position better, but either will get my foot in the door. I just don't think that I can work at the same school as my son goes to. It would probably distract him.

Has anybody else gone from being a mom to working in the school district as such? Curious...
