, I am so happy to hear the nodes are cancer free!!! I know you are glad

things aren't as bad as you feared.

Hannah and had their tonsils and adnoids removed at the same time. Hannah

did great! She started eating 4 hours after surgery! She got to go home the next

day. on the other hand did not do as well. She refused to eat. We tried

everything. She became dehydrated and had to stay 3 days in the hospital. The

nurses and doctors could not keep an iv in her for fluids. They put a board on

her arm and taped it up real good. Whole whole hand and arm was wrapped up. The

little booger broke the board and took out the IV. They said they never had a

child do that before. She is stubborn!!!!!

I hope isn't as stubborn. I'm sure he will do great. Keep us posted!!

We all love you!

Gail, NO NODE INVOLVEMENT Thank God!! BUT.......they found some precancerous

cells around the area where the bad tumor was removed so they want to go in

AGAIN and clear that tissue and send out to make sure all is clear.

Otherwise, I will have to have mastectomy! If I do, I'm whacking the other

off and getting a nice new set of boobs for FREE! Hopefully, though, I

won't, and then I can start my radiation treatments, going in for second

opinion. Brother is now involved and being VERY supportive, I must admit.

Maybe this is happening for a reason so that my Dad's wishes will be honored

and the family will remain intact? Who knows? definitely needs t/a

out, plus tongue reduction, and we took blood to recheck for celiac, gi doc

says is first patient NOT to show any obvious signs of celiac!!!! She

says if bowel and intestine don't show any damage, it's up to me whether I

want to do the GF diet for beahavioral issues, but she's seen patients that

are 70 yr. olds, and have celiac and have never been on the diet, so the

complications in 20/30 years could happen or they could not...it's my call IF

there's NO damage.

We will hold off on 's surgery until I see what's going on with

ME...after all, I'VE got to be in some good shape to tend to HIM when HE gets

operated on!

By the way, your card was hysterical.......the second one....thanks to

everyone else, Donna, Dawn, for the cards and lovely picture of Dawn's son!!!

Keep em coming, they really brighten my days!

Love to all,
