Guest guest
OCD is definitely back! But we had some success this a.m. He's had a cold this week also, sneezing, runny nose.... has a fencing match today, all day, is there now. He had to be there this a.m. at 7. He was " iffy " this a.m. about it. I took his temperature, though he'd drank something cold when he got up but it had been a few minutes. It read about 99.9 deg. I'm sure he doesn't feel up to par, his normal temp is under 98.6 (mine too). Well, to shorten this as I have to get ready to be back up there at 9, he also said that OCD had made him swear to God not to go to the fencing match. And I go into the " don't listen is the best thing... " and also tell him that God knows *why* he swore, He understands all that, etc., etc., and that could still go. I also got a bit drastic (at least this would be drastic for ) and as I was saying how God understands all and OCD, etc., told him that if OCD/his brain was even having him say something really bad like --- and hope I don't offend anyone here too much with this example I used --- telling God to " go to *H* " , that God understands it's the OCD, even if OCD makes you say it 100x and so on, that OCD can make you think/say some very bad things. So anyway, said he would go and help get things set up and see how he was feeling when I get there at 9. I told his coach that wasn't feeling well and about his temperature, and he said that if didn't feel up to the match, that was fine, as everyone in his family had been/is sick lately also. So - we will see what happens later!
