Thanks Janet! I already have a disability rating through the VA. I've proven service connection for the HCV and recieve 30% for the damage to my liver. This however is not taking into account the other symtoms that I believe are related to HCV. Fatigue, sleep disorders, digestive problems, depression, etc. I think I may need a lawyer to fight with the VA to get them to admit that some of these things are disabling, and are connected to the HCV. Problem with getting a lawyer is the money. I haven't worked full time since the second month of Interferon back in 98. Now I work very little, and the VA check is barely enough to pay rent, buy medicine, and keep me fed even here in China. So, what I should have asked is... do you know of anyone that can help with a request for an increase in my disability rating? I probably shoud be asking some other disabled vets... Eat well, sleep well, be

Thanks jax! You're a peach! I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I had a guy at the Portland OR VFW that was helping me, but all the numbers I have don't work anymore. If there is a way I can work with them via email it will help me too. (Business hours there are sleeping hours here. Not to mention the cost of a call from here just to wait on hold for an eternity.) In case this last leaves you wondering, I'm in China. Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Eat well, sleep well, be well!
