A real sick instead of a fever

We have gone through the same thing with Clay. In November we ran his

normal monthly CBC. During the exam he had a red throat and the pedi

decided to do a strep test. He actually had strep. It was a week

before his normal fever. He started to run fever during the strep

episode. We were very concerned because we knew he was too weak to try

to get through another week of not eating. He was fine the week later

and no fever. He had a very regular cycle of fevering on Naprosyn. We

started a new meds so things are a little irregular. Good food for

thought.
