Guest guest
Hi my name is Dawn I hope you don't mind me emailing you but I read your post and was just wondering if you would mind talking with me via emial. My son is 8 and just had a break from the for a whole year. You said you son has three year break and the is back a really bad again? Is it the fevers that are so bad or dose he get really bad mouth sores? My son had the T & A done back in 2003 abd it really help him a lot. He had a six month break for than. We it came back it was not so bad. Before the T & A the fever would go as high as 105 and the sores would be all in his mouth and throat every 21 days. After the T & A the fever would be lower like 102 and the sores we only a few like one or two small ones every 21 days. Than is went to every other month but not always a fever sometimes just sores. Than it went to just sore every few months. Than it stoped all togeter for a year. Now it back and really bad. The fever goes to 104 for the three days and the sores are really big. In his mouth and on and under tonuge. The last outbreak two outbreaks his bottom lip and cheeck swelled up. He could not eat or talk at all. He would drink but not much because it hurt. The Orapred help some but not much. The magic mouthwash help a little but not for long. The outbreak he is having now the fever went away after one dose of Orapred. The sores are bad under his tonuge and tow on the tip of it. He will not eat and can hardly talk. He dose not want to drink but I make him. He gose to see an ID doctor on May 10. I hope he can help Chris. Is it this way for you son? I you want to respond that fine if not that OK as well! Just looking for why it webt away for a year and then came back so bad. Thanks Dawn Colley mom to 8 & Nikki
