I just found out that after living here

for 2 years, my next door neighbors son has autism.

Mind you, in my defense, I have never

seen the house or the kids cause we live very rurally and have lots of trees

and such. J

We are everywhere.

Subject: conversation at

wedding

So, I'm

at a wedding today and talking to a couple about why I live in NY

and didn't move back to Virginia-

and this lady walks over and says " I have

TWO children with autism " . So, I go into mode and start chatting with her.

Her kids are both under 3 and dx about 6-8 months ago.

She never heard of chelation or leaky gut.

So, i'm thinking she's a newbie, and I'll give her the " big picture "

speech.

She starts with all these excuses " there are so many diets " " how

do you

know which one to chose " " it's too hard " " but we're doing ABA and Speech

therapy right now "

" we don't need to take dairy out because they don't get ear

infections " " i

had them tested for allergies and they are fine " .

Then she makes a comment how her son can sit in a corner for 12 hours and

play with one toy.

So, when I say to her- kids can recover, diet is the first step, suppliments

are important, etc.....

Then someone at the table asked me about vaccines, she says " there isn't

mercury in the vaccines anymore " . And before I can give her the TRUTH, she

cuts me off.

She gets all upset and says " I don't want to talk about autism

anymore " .

(at this point I want to crawl into a hole)

At least she wrote down the website for GR-- I told her they have a great

checklist (only one I know of).

Then I had to avoid her for the rest of the wedding- which was hard because

I was videotaping it :)

But, it just got me so mad. Not talk about it? That's fine- you are at a

wedding.

Ok- she was getting overwhelmed. But, i'm thinking to myself- who hasn't

heard of chelation? how much research could she have done? When my son was

3 (4 yrs ago), I hadn't heard of any kids recovering- but if I did- it would

have peaked my interest. I just felt like she was full of misinformation,

that could only result in missing GOOD treatments for her kids. I just hope

she visits the GR site (thanks GR).

btw- the groom's son has autism too

No, I was having a tree cut down and I got

to talking to the guy who owns the company and Max came outside and I told him he

has autism and he told me about them. He is related to them by marriage.

Can't swing a dead cat without hitting an autistic kid nowadays.

HEY- We have three kids with autism on our block too (that I know of).

I know there are a lot of newbies out there... but usually they are more

educated (then the lady i met today). or maybe it's the more educated ones

who find ME.

It took me a while.... even after meeting half the cast of EOH, I still

didn't believe it all.

But, at least I was aware. I stopped vax- did the diet (after 1 year). We

all have regrets. but, just like society needs to know 1 in 166---- new

parents need to know BIOMED!

This is a recurrent theme. Same thing happened to me at my nephew's induction into a club he wished to belong to.

In any event, when you raise the autism/mercury/vaccines issue people get really defensive- in some sense you can't blame them- for to accept the truth behind this mess is to acknowledge how corrupt our medical establishment is and how our politicians have essentially destroyed this society and many of its children.

It is a truly horrific story.

It requires a certain critical thought process that most people simply don't have.

It is very hard to accept unless you are close to it.

For it brings to bear the fact that your society and certain medical and political institutions have functioned (essentially) as medical nazis against the most vulnerable segment of our society.

You don't get conversion very easily. Especially when those responsible abuse their public trust to protect people from learning of this horrific issue.

You initially get a whole lot of pissed off people- at you- the messenger- rather than the reality of the story.

But you do an incredibly important job in bringing this information to these people.

Piss them off- they will begin to think- to read- to understand.

You are the first line in this- and most often it is a very difficult position to be in.

Keep the faith.
