Guest guest
I believe the same story about AIDS originating with oral polio vaccines cultured in contaminated chimpanzee tissue cultures was extensively researched in Hooper's book The River: A Journey through the Ofigin of HIV and AIDS. Try and find a copy of that book. It is out-of-print which seems odd given the topicality of the subject and used copies go for $80 to $100. What's up with that. > > See this link for an explanation > > > > http://www.aidsorigins.com/content/view/193/28/ > > > > and the video is available at the following link > > > > http://www.documentary-film.net/search/video-listings.php?e=36 >
Guest guest
Try local libraries. If not, maybe after reading one should donate so others can have the benefit of reading. I just ordered " The Virus and the Vaccine " about SV-40. It's in my library, but I wanna keep passing this one around to all the people in my family with cancer who've never been tested for SV-40 and think I'm crazy for suggesting it. Guest guest
the movie features Hooper prominently. The book is a riveting account and a must read also. But it's 1000 pages, so the video is a more economical way to absorb the argument. That said, the book was so powerful, I read it in a single sitting. I couldn't put it down. The parallels are pretty darned obvious and even some of the characters (Plotkin and crew) are overlapping. > > > > See this link for an explanation > > > > > > > > http://www.aidsorigins.com/content/view/193/28/ > > > > > > > > and the video is available at the following link > > > > > > > > http://www.documentary-film.net/search/video-listings.php?e=36 > > >
Guest guest
This book needs to be in print again. Anyone have any ideas on how this could be accomplished??? I for one, don't want to pay $89.00 for it. I never saw the docu when it was first shown, but it took me almost 3 hours to view it last night because I have light DSL and it kept stopping(which made it difficult), but was well worth the 3 hours. Deeply disturbing and upsetting--altho i had heard about a lot of this previously. This video really put it in perspective for me.blaxillmark <mblaxill@...> wrote: the movie features Hooper prominently. The book is a riveting account and a must read also. Guest guest
Wow! I bought The River: Journey to the Source of AIDS in July 2004 for $16.97 from Amazon. I didn't know it was out of print. I can't believe the price is so high now. I bet you can email the author, Ed Hooper via his website: aidsorigins.com and if there is a less costly way to get the book I'm sure he would know. Is it worth $89? Probably. Here's a quick take on the book: It's a rather meandering read - almost journal like in some ways - as Hooper retells his path of research and discovery into the roots of the AIDS epidemic. This makes it stylistically different from The Virus and the Vaccine and EOH. Each book ends the same - with an eye- opening and compelling body of evidence (but no firm conclusions) linking vaccines to the plagues of our time. With Virus & vaccine it's certain cancers, with The River it's AIDs, and with EOH, it's autism, of course. As far as readibility goes I'd put Virus & Vaccine as #1, EOH #2 and the River #3. All 3 should be required reading for science, liberal arts, healthcare students, IMHO. egran. > This book needs to be in print again. Anyone have any ideas on how this could be accomplished??? Guest guest
Interesting to see Maurice Hilleman's name attached to this as well. I didn't realize he was one of the scientists who discovered SV40. > > > > > > See this link for an explanation > > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.aidsorigins.com/content/view/193/28/ > > > > > > > > > > > > and the video is available at the following link > > > > > > > > > > > > http://www.documentary-film.net/search/video-listings.php?e=36 > > > > > >
Guest guest
Why do I get this sinking feeling in my gut that after I watch this video I will believe that the HIV/AIDS epidemic was caused by a tainted polio vaccine. Could it be that: a) I have fallen into the category of a full blown " conspiracy theorist " . Possibly. There is good evidence that it's true. Possibly. I refuse to watch this video until after the 4th of July. I would like to spend the last few hours of this holiday weekend thinking that its all one big conspiracy. Bring on the margaritas. Guest guest
For anyone who has Direct TV or the Sundance channel, I caught The Origin of Aids two times last summer on the Sundance Channel. I was floored by the parallels and stunned that no one I knew had ever heard of it. I actually was reading Evidence at the same time, eerie. - From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of Mark Blaxill Sent: Saturday, July 01, 2006 12:27 PM EOHarm ; abmd Subject: this video is a must see See this link for an explanation http://www.aidsorigins.com/content/view/193/28/ and the video is available at the following link http://www.documentary-film.net/search/video-listings.php?e=
