Guest guest
Hi I last saw our former pediatrician about 2 years ago. It ended in a shouting match over my daughter , who was at the time 1-1/2. He had originally allowed my to do one vaccine at a time with no HEP B or Prevnar. If we ever have another child, I will not vaccinate at all. But I was only beginning to understand the issues and knew nothing of the mercury/autism connection. I did know thimerasol was bad and so I told him that I would only accept a DTaP or HIB (his choice) but not both, without thimerasol. Well he changed his mind and demanded that she "catch up" on all her vaccines at once. He wanted DTaP, HIB, Prevnar, HEP A, HEP B and flu shot -- all at the same time. He said he would no longer take any excuses from anyone. All children would have all recommended vaccines before the due date or that child would be considered a danger to themselves and others. He said there would be no more excuses -- not for illness, not for prematurity or jaundice -- no excuses period! He said his wife was expecting a son soon and that he would use the new rules on his own son as well. To qualify for his practice, all children were to receive HEP A, MMR and variacella within two weeks of the 1-year old birthday. All other shots -- 4 DTaP, 3 HIB, 4 Prevnar, 3 polio, 3 HEP B would have to be completed by 11 months of age. That is what that man did to my son. I did not back down and she received one shot. He did lie about the shot, but that is another post for another day. We had our shouting match and I left, never to return. I had not heard from him until this week.So we got a letter from him that states, "Due to family issues, I will be reducing my hours and combining my practice with Newport Pediatrics. My youngest son now suffers from seizures that are not responding to any medications. My little boy requires 24 hour care." We say it all the time -- how can these pediatricians live with themselves and not see the obvious? I will always have to live with the guilt of what I let him do to my son, and I spent the last 2 years beating myself up for letting my daughter receive that last mercury filled injection. But at least I saved her from someone I believe is a barbarian. Several months ago, there was a picture of a mass murderer on cable television that to any child would surely look like the boggey man. Some commentator in the background was saying that he was an evil man that deserved to die. looked at me and asked (pointing at the televsion) "oh, is that a pediatrician?" I felt ashamed because I realized what has probably been pouring out of my mouth for the last two years, but when I got the letter this week... well it is just very hard to think of these people as do gooders when they have done so much harm. Guest guest
It makes me sad when I read things like this. This man has to see his child suffer and that's a terrible thing. It's heartbreaking. I've had to watch my own son suffer a great deal from his own illnesses. We should remember though that not all illnesses are mercury related. Sometimes we as a community seem to say "I told you so. Your child's sick and it's all your fault because you gave them vaccines." And we torture ourselves with guilt for having given our children vaccines. For weeks I've belonged to this email group and really believed my son's autism was caused by mercury. (I'm about to get a lot of nasty emails about this but I have to say it because I've been flying the mercury flag). I recently had him tested and on Wednesday found out his mercury levels are within a normal range (normal meaning in keeping with what the general population would have). From this I've concluded mercury did not cause my son's autism. He did have high levels of uranium but he didn't get that from a shot he got it from a shallow mountain well. As far as mercury I'm not saying it doesn't cause autism, I'm just saying it didn't cause my son's. I wanted to believe it did because it gave me hope that he could be chelated and everything would turn out ok. Maybe my son has "true autism" and other children actually have mercury toxicity and suffer from symptoms that mirror autism. If that is true then autism isn't on the rise, mercury poisoning is. I'm conflicted about the whole subject. I wonder if the rise in autism isn't related to the rise in pollution. Human beings weren't meant to breath in and ingest so much poison. Therefore we need to start taking the environment's health seriously before we destroy ourselves along with the planet. I guess what I'm really trying to say is that if we want to get closer to the truth of what caused our children's autism we should first get them tested for heavy metals. If they don't have mercury poisoning then we should move on to search for the answer elsewhere. If they do then chelate. Since I know my son's not mercury toxic I'm moving on. On thursday I requested to unsubscribe to this group but it hasn't kicked in yet. For the record I still think it's absolutely stupid to give mercury to a baby. And it's stupid to give them vaccines for what used to be normal childhood illnesses (ie chicken pocks, mumps) because now that people aren't getting exposed to these diseases in childhood when they get them in adulthood they cause way more problems than they would have in childhood (my coworkers college aged brother in law - who happened to be autistic - died of chicken pox this year). I think you're all onto something though and should continue fighting the good fight because so many of you do have evidence of harm - you've tested your kids and their off the charts with mercury. Good luck to all of you. I wish good things for your and your children.Vera <sircarlito@...> wrote: Hi I last saw our former pediatrician about 2 years ago. Guest guest
Hi. I don't have an autistic child, but it's my understanding that mercury binds to the organs, so it often doesn't show up on the test until chelation is done many times. If your child has high levels of other metals, it's possible that your child is high in mercury also. I recently had him tested and on Wednesday found out his mercury levels are within a normal range (normal meaning in keeping with what the general population would have). Guest guest
Vera, Don't beat yourself up. Our pediatrician left the state shortly after our son was poisoned. She deliberately lied to me and gave our son TCV's even after she knew how I felt about them. She took advantage of my ignorance. I did not know thimerosal was in those vaccines because I naively trusted that she would not lie. I am glad she lives in another state because I often think I would get a lot of satisfaction out of punching her. I am a pacifist, so that ought to tell you how angry I am at her. At the very least, I wish I could call her what she is: a child poisoner. The road to hell is indeed paved with their so-called good intentions. Shakespeare missed the mark when he said that the first thing we needed to do was kill all the lawyers. I thank God for the really good doctors out there. I just wish there were more of them. When it comes to most of them, they spew off ignorant knowledge of autism when it is just some blurb they heard in medical school. Very few of them study for the real truth. It is so much easier just to believe what they have been told to believe. It takes much more courage to study and formulate one's own opinions and stand one's ground. Thank God, for our children's sakes that there are some who do. Haven
Guest guest
Blood tests for mercury poisoning won't show squat. You have to do chelation then test. Many people have shallow mountain wells, why don't you have uranium poisoning? Sounds to me that he isn't able to excrete heavy metals. Guest guest
Cheri, When we 1st started to see a DAN in Dec. I asked about mercury testing, hair, etc. I had already had the blood tests done and it was 2-3. My pedi says that's very normal. Well no amount of mercury in the blood is normal or safe. Also my DAN said we are not going to do any testing until chelation because there is absolutely no way to test accurate levels. I agree our environment is toxic and we should be working both fronts. But it is so much worse to be injecting it in newborns. With high levels of Urainium your child definetly has a metals problem. I would not abandon the idea of chelation yet. We haven't started chelation yet because we're working on the viral load 1st. Please reconsider at least looking into it more. Also I agree the letter from this pediatrician is very sad. We're talking about another injured child and a parent who has been devistated as we have. Anger at him now is wasted energy and we should be focusing energy on the child who has been harmed. All pediatricians are being pressured extensively by the AAP and they trust them just as we used to trust enough. Maybe he'll (the pediatrician) become another voice for our children. - >From: hostler cheri <cherielln@...> >Date: Sat Apr 29 02:33:25 CDT 2006 >EOHarm >Subject: RE: Re: Got a letter from our Former Pediatrician >It makes me sad when I read things like this.ย This man has to see his child suffer and that's a terrible thing.ย It's heartbreaking.ย I've had to watch my own son suffer a great deal from his own illnesses.ย We should remember though that not all illnesses are mercury related.ย Sometimes we as a community seem to say " I told you so.ย Your child's sick and it's all your fault because you gave them vaccines. Guest guest
I feel for the pediatrician. However, this issue is so common sense, for any doctor to reject it or not understand it is inexplicable to me. They are buying the lie without critical thought. Very dangerous. Guest guest
For H. I WOULD SUGGEST THAT RED BLOOD CELL MERCURY LEVEL MEASURED BEFORE INJECTION with anything containing mercury. Elevated levels would indicate genetic defect in mercury excretion. a contraindication to mercury adminisdtration. anything containing mercury Sincerely, H.H. However, this issue is so common sense, for any doctor to reject it or not understand it is inexplicable to me. They are buying the lie without critical thought. Very dangerous. RE: Re: Got a letter from our Former Pediatrician>It makes me sad when I read things like this.

Therefore we need to start taking the environment's health seriously before we destroy ourselves along with the planet.> > I guess what I'm really trying to say is that if we want to get closer to the truth of what caused our children's autism we should first get them tested for heavy metals.

I wish good things for your and your children.>>Vera <sircarlito@...> wrote: Hi I last saw our former pediatrician about 2 years ago. I had not heard from him until this week.>>So we got a letter from him that states, "Due to family issues, I will be reducing my hours and combining my practice with Newport Pediatrics.
