First, the description of SMA in that article seems way out of date

in some respects. They actual say that Type I, II & III SMA are

NOT progressive??!?!?! Wow, is that ever wrong.

Regardless, I wouldn't touch Chinese herbal treatments with a 10

foot pole. But that's just me.

I am glad that your daughter has had some good results

with acupuncture treatment. Does she receive any other

treatments beside that? The girl who learnt to stand

is now 6 years old, she did some acupuncture for

several months around one year old then took some

chinese medicines after that every day. Usually, the

herbs are prescriped by the doctor specifically for

you, although some majoy herb ingrediences are

similar.

Hey Aul, just how long did you take this med? A couple of weeks isnt a fair

time frame to determine if they are doing anything good for you. When taking

meds that are natural ingredients, it may take more time to penetrate into

your system. If money isnt an issue, try 3 months, especially if you have no

side effects. Then before taking anything new, wait three weeks.

My opinion based on personal experience and some dr input.
