I saw the documentary, 39 Pounds of Love, on Sunday and got to talk

with the director a bit. I was a bit worried that it was another

sentimental piece about " triumph over adversity " . Actually, it was

pretty good. An honest account of an American-born Israeli with Spinal

Muscular Atrophy II who visits the states to chase a couple of demons.

He's a very talented animator - his artwork is well integrated

throughout.
