Guest guest
I would just like to introduce myself. I am 34 have type 3 SMA and had a younger sister who died aged 13 and my family are going through the diagnosis pain again as my older sister who is no affected has a 6 month old baby who is undergoing the various tests for neuromuscular disorders... Anyway, I am very active and love my sport, a sniff of water and I am there! I swam for GB for 10 years until my sma got too bad; now I compete in trail orienteering but at the moment for pleasure but oneday I would like too represent my Country again. Other activities include swimming, canoeing and sailing, as well as a little bit of camping. Next year we are hoping to have a holiday in the usa canoeing down the Missouri River and around Yellowstone National Park! We live in Scotland I love photography, the arts and the cinema. I have been with my husband for 15 years and I get my with the assistance of my personal assistants (PA's) as my husband is also a wheelchair user through loosing his legs in a motorbike accident when he was 17. We do not have any children but we have 2 miniture schnauzers which we got from a rescue centre (they have various neurosis from their past) but they are of great comfort. Anyway, enough of me for now, I look forward too hearing from some of you. Until then take care Vivien
