I have even invented my first recipe. Elise's BFL Buffalo Wings.

OK, there are no actual chicken wings involved, and there certainly

isn't any frying and there *may* be lots of low fat cottage cheese

in it, but they fool me and> I love them and think I am an absolute

genius! :o)

Here is another recipe for Wings from the Lean and Strong Board:

One boneless skinless chicken breast Sliced lengthwise as thick as

you would like.

Spray them with a little no fat pam (also my hubby likes to brush egg

whites over them to make them kind of crispy..you can if you like). I

like to grill mine but if you don't have a grill anway would be good

I bet. While they cook baste them with some hot sauce in our house we

use " franks hot sauce " but you can use whatever buffalo wing sauce

you like.

In a tupperware bowl (with lid) put about a 1/4 cup of your buffalo

wing sauce and a little tabasco (we do about 7-8 shakes ). Mix it a

little then add your chicken to the tupperware and give it a good

shake (make sure you lid is on or you might stain your brand new

carpet *AHEM*) After you shake it take the lid of and there ya have

it. Once in a while we will use fat free blue cheese dressing to dip

them in but it's not necassary these have so much flavor you should

be fine.

We serve this with a salad and corn. Hope you like them

Do you put the sauce on before you bake or grill them and then shake them in the

container with the sauce again? Sorry, I got confused...lol We like hot wings in

our house so this would be a better recipe for me and my husband. ( both of us

need to lose weight)

OK, now that I've gone and proclaimed myself a genius I'm a little

worried about putting this out here. But here it is.

8 oz chicken breast grilled - basted with 1 1/2 T Buffalo Wing Sauce

1/2 C 1% Cottage Cheese

1T Blue Cheese

3T Buffalo Wing Sauce

Cut chicken into chunks.

Blend cottage cheese and blue cheese in food processor. Mix in

chicken. Stir in remaining 3T hot sauce. For me this makes two

servings with FitDay giving it nutritional values of

230 Cal

7 g fat

9 g carb

34 g protein

You can serve it over a small potato or stuff it in whole wheat

tortilla's and add some celery and carrots to even out the c:p:f

ratios.

I love blue cheese and just couldn't leave it out.

Elise didn't post her recipe, but her recipe was the one with cottage

cheese. I posted a different recipe.
