Do any of you ever do about 5-10 minutes of cardio before doing weight

training. I was complaining to a friend about my sore muscles, and

she recommended that I run for abour 5 minutes before weights to

loosen up my muslces?

Any suggestions, thoughts, input?

Yes, it's a good idea to limber up. When I do it, I am less likely to get

hurt, which is what I worry about. Sore muscles may or may not be related.

I do 5 minutes on a stationary bike before I do my leg workout, but that¹s

because of my arthritis. Can¹t hurt as long as you use it to warm up and

not as part of your actual cardio training.
