Guest guest
G'Morning all! I actually joined a few weeks back, so that I could begin educating myself about BFL. I've started on my official BFL voyage today, and my plan is to remain on this ship forever :-). I've read both BFL as well as BFL for Women this past month. I've purchased a MIO wrist monitor, as well as a Tanita scale, a wrist blood pressure monitor, and a tape measure of course, lol. This morning, I had my protein drink for breakfast, as well as my supplements. I just finished 30 minutes on my stationery bike. I rode 13.5 miles in 28 minutes. I rode with light tension at the rate of 28-32 MPH for 23 minutes. I then tightened the tension and rode 5 more minutes as a rate of 15 - 18 MPH. Here are my statistics... Age 53 (ouch!) Hgt 5'6.5 " Wgt 170lbs Size = 14 I haven't taken my measurements yet, but I will get that done today. I will also try to get the courage to take a B4 photo, although I must admit, I'm not excited about doing it, lol. Last April, I weighed 148, and was a size 10 ( I was on my way to a size 8). My goal is to return to a size 8, but more importantly to gain muscle and improve my level of fitness. My biggest challenge will be dealing with my arthritic knees. I look forward to the leadership and motivation from our group leaders. BFLer, lyn
