Just read your post about liver life. We too are on the lower the ph kick! Saliva is just about ok but urine is too high first thing in the morning. Have been adding lemon juice to some of his drinks. Need to up his liver life levels, he is currently on 9 drops am and pm. Will try to do it over the hols.

This is a difficult one which I am going to try to explain the easiest way I can. Don't shoot me, I am no expert and it took me a while to grasp this particular theory. Will give you quotes from Bioray if you should need more.

Apparently, lemons are acidic when entering the body and alkaline when leaving the body. So I can see how you are looking at it (me too in the beginning). However, lemons help the body to drain acids so when the lemon is ingested the acids are shifting and the urine is therefore acidic (ie lower ph) not alkaline.

All I know is it is working! Eventually I hope to have enough drops to not need the lemon juice as is not overkeen. However, meanwhile I shall carry on and see how it goes. If you still don't 'get it' just shout. I had to keep asking a variety of questions before I saw the light!

I thought lemon juice was given to raise the ph?

I remember thinking about this when I first got the LL paperwork, thinking something wasn't right (lemons and acid) and I needed to revisit it. Same old story - still on the in-pile (s)

I did an experiement yesterday after posted, kept the ascorbic in and didn't give the HCI - he was back up to 8.0 this morning, so I think we need that HCI. We try lemons next week!

Wow, Mandi, he really does have low acid, this could really be a large piece of the puzzle, for you. Once you correct this you should see some good stuff.

>>This is new - he was always acid in the past, back 5 years or so he was Mr Acid. Stools were pH of 5.1, they used to burn him on contact :(

Can anybody help with my son urine PH is always 5-6, always very acidic (he would never eat something that is acidic, even a drop of lemon in the food will scare him)

What can I do about it? What supplements are appropriate for this acidic situation?

Thanks

Liora

Alkaline foods are fruits and vegetables, not a lot of kids eat them. Acidic foods are dairy, meat and eggs.
