Oh my - trying to figure out why Sam has been a bit impulsive these last few days and starting pinching me and his favourite teacher again.

Today I am giving his room a good clean and voila! - a large box of Celebration sweets - School Council gave them to DH for stuff he has done, I guess he thought I'd hidden them and vice versa - we generally don't have sweets in the house.

Speedy gonalez Sam must have whisked them away - he has been very careful that we didn't find them or the wrappers, stashed behind videos and a pair of shoes - litttle bugger, all gone now - brought them home Friday - sighhhhhhhhhhhhh

The positive is his mischief has got to new hieghts- his face would have given him away before now, extra vigilance required

I think this smacks of honest to goodness normal behaviour in swiping the sweets lol, sorry I know you have had the fallout but you know what I mean.

Maybe it's the NCD! Ten days in and started helping himself to my tonic water, downing several litres over a few days while I wondered why he had become so giggly. Empty bottles in the wheely bin gave him away and then when the remaining tonic had been removed he finished the job off with a can of beer!!

Wheelie bin is smart, Sam like to fetch bottles out of the recyle bin!

Where are you at with the dosing now?

Maybe it's the NCD!

Ten days in and started helping himself to my tonic water,

downing several litres over a few days while I wondered why he had

become so giggly. Empty bottles in the wheely bin gave him away and

then when the remaining tonic had been removed he finished the job

off with a can of beer!!

A week later he was in the pantry helping himself to Marmite.

I have no idea what else the NCD may be doing against that background.

Cheers!

........Judging by subsequent events he's not only realised he can,

but he's also damned well going to.

NCD has increased his appetite (a good thing)and he's been determined

to eat whatever takes his fancy, whereas he used to be happy to stick

to the diet. So we're in the process of changing enzymes...... to,

yes, HNI... to cope with infractions, hopefully.

> Where are you at with the dosing now?

........We started at 1 drop/day and saw cheerful chirpy mood, with a

bit more speech (I think). On day four he was off-colour and stayed

in bed most of the day, but then quickly seemed better and we pushed

on up to four drops, without seeing any real benefits.

Then he hit the bottle (or can) and we dropped back to one a day and

have stayed there since. I've been looking for the return of the good

mood we had right at the beginning but haven't found it yet. Maybe

it's masked by all the dietary infractions, or perhaps the dose is

too low? I dunno.

Any thoughts?

>>>Its very important to stay well hydrated and if he's been on the beer thats not the best way to stay hydrated LOL.

Perhaps we shoold point out to the list this lad is 'drinking' legally per his age LOL - they might have thought he was 6 - arghhhhhhhh

Maybe take a break for a few days, push the water and they try again but stick to one drop.

We had yeast early on, that might be driving him to want to eat carbs, sugar, anthing to feed to yeast. What do you have at home to give him for possible yeast flare?

OOops, yes he's a legal drinker - now 22.1years and we've been trying

to get this sorted ever since he regressed age 3.6, following his

first antibiotics (glue ear) following a flu-like illness without a

fever. I wish I knew then what I know now......

I don't think hydration is a problem as he drinks litre upon litre of

water. Mind you, he also has a salt craving which may have some

bearing on that. Hmmm, I think the salt craving has gone down a bit

since he started on the NCD. Does that make any sense?

And while on this subject, does anyone know of a good adrenal cortex

extract, please, to combat the salt craving per AC's recommendation?

For yeast, we've got - probiotics Sacc boulardii, CP1 and Lp299v

separately, Mycropryl (caprylic acid), olive leaf extract (Eden

extract), grapefruit seed extract and I picked up some oil of oregano

caps today at the HFS (had the drops before and too foul to take). I

don't have No-Fenol (not yet anyway) nor Candex, but maybe I should.

I've never really noticed much benefit from yeast treatment per se in

the past, but can't rule it out.

I'm just wondering whether previous chelation makes it easier to

tolerate more drops of NCD - we're first-timers. Anyway we'll have a

week off and then start again.
