Guest guest
I am not teaching summer school but I still get calls about my students behavior problems. C. has always been a trial but this summer he is on 20. C. is a 16 year old, barely verbal autistic young man. He has several behaviors that are problematic in a classroom situation. He digs feces out of his anus and smears it on his clothes and desk. He screams continually. He throws things at others and spits on them. I suspect these behaviors are worse than usual because summer school is located in a different room and he has a different teacher. But I know I will have all this to deal with when I come back in the fall. Oh, C. also touches women and girls inappropriately at every opportunity. He is on meds for depression and is being given neural feedback therapy twice a week. Any ideas? R
