You are doing a good job.Like Nicola said, how much are they, and can you test for anything else - mercury in tuna? Can you give any more details. >>>These are Lead test kits only. not sure how much gotta go look at site www.MandiMart.com I think you can just assume there is mercury in tuna - if there is no mercury there ill be PCB's and organophosphates anyways - the Tuna is a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGG fish, been in the ocean a long time to get toxic, ate loads during my pregnancy thinking that was healthy, never touch the stuff now. One of the girls our dept at school was eating tuna out of a tin every lunchtime, she was not listening to me about it......................now her thyroid has completely gone AWOL she is listening and not eating it now thank goodness. I'd like to source some test kits for Arsenic but haven't found them yet Mandi x

Guest guest
I am remembering now (whilst sitting here beating myself up for not testing the damn plates before) that I heard the more expensive stuff is likely to have higher amounts and that places like Poole Pootery have loads. We have Poole Pootery plates - from BK (before kids) and actually BCW (Before current wife LOL for DH) but Sam has never been allowed to use them case he breaks it LOL - although I would have let him coz that previous wife choose these and I hate em, anyways, we shall get it sorted today and report back later Mandi x

Guest guest
What are and where do you get the lead test sticks. Would like to test also. Elaine From: Autism Treatment [mailto:Autism Treatment ] On Behalf Of Mum231ASD@... Sent: 16 April 2006 00:38 To: Autism Treatment Subject: Fwd: Lead in dishware - FYI My son test result came with lead in the red. Today I bought whole bunch of lead test sticks and tested every thing suspicious at home and sure enough the glaze on all ceramic dishware I bought last year from Target is the only culprit I found. Sadly, I bought these dishes to replace older dishware that I thought may not be safe (the old ones tested lead free). Any way, off to shop for dishes now. I guess I am going for all glass this time. Just wanted to let you know not to trust modern dishware. Appearently they still use lead glazes eventhough these are low fire ceramics. It makes me so mad.
