Guest guest
Thank you Caroyn, you're a sweetey I just hope I utilize it.. I'm one of those people that get stuck in a rut and don't get out!! LOL... I ike doing sets w/ my clients, if I have them go on the bowflex I'll have to stand around and be lazy..LOL... BUT if I get anymore clients, I surely won't be working out with them all anyway! It has been a great week this week for my gym. I've spent a pile though (yikes). I just pray I can get a couple of clients to help pay for my new toys!! I also pray that it will fit okay in the gym and I don't have to get rid of any of my cardio equipment..... I do know the next few sessions that Kim pays for I will NOT be spending, but putting it in our account to go toward this. (she just paid for another 6 weeks which paid for my new elleptical and bike) Anyway, normally, I start spending..LOL. There's only a couple more things that i want, that I will WAIT for, like another set of gliding discs, Agility ladder, and maybe some hurdles... Stuff that I don't " need " , but would like some day! Just think Carolyn YOU are the one who made this a reality for me!! Really, you are. It was your comment many months ago when you said.. " why can't you use your gym to train clients? " ...LOL.... Thank you over and over again... Guest guest
Congrats on the purchases, Darcy! Hope the bowflex works out! Anne Darcy wrote: Well, I just did it, I just bought a bowflex ultimate 2. I was waiting for a revolution to come up (been watching e-bay), but they are coming up very little and when they do they are still over $2,000. An ultimate 2 came up on e-bay which is just over 2 hours away for me. It comes with everything and he was just asking $1200, so I did it after racking my brain, researching, and 3 phone calls later to bowflex people themselves..LOL.. The ultimate 2 sells on their site for $2300 plus tax and shipping, so I got it for about half, I suppose. I am nervous I won't like it. Or nervous I won't use it like I should. Oh, I can always resell if it doesn't work out... yikes, I sure hope it DOES work out though. On another note I got my elliptical in my gym today and I do really like that one as well It is much smoother than my other one, really tall, and just much more professional looking. I ALSO found a good deal on a nice recumbent bike. The one I had was a cheapo, this one is nice, a nordic track sl720, retails for like $650 and I got it for $225 after bugging the guy for a week to drop his price down from $300 LOL.. I think I have spent enough money now and am sooooo done shopping for a LONG time....
Guest guest
Wow! That's great news Darcy. Your gym is really coming together. Enjoy your new equipment, I'm sure your clients will. Guest guest
You are so sweet Carolyn, it sure has been great knowing you throughout the years.... I have many more online friends than I do " real life " friends. I don't know what I would do without you guys!!Anyway, yes you are right. I will be counting reps for them while on the machine, and giving them support...(cheering them on).. helping with form. I just mean I'd feel lazy not doing anything physical with them. I like to do the work right with them. However, I don't with ALL exercises. For instance when I do chest, I don't do anything becuz she can't really see me for form anyway w/ chest press / flies and push-ups. I haven't advertised at all, I just am trying to establish myself by word of mouth. I have such limited hours that I really don't have the time to train many. In all honesty, I would only want 3 clients full-time (3 days a week) or maybe 4 part-time. It wouldn't be near as hard if I could just walk out the door and train, but by the time I take my boys to the sitter, pick them up...or get a sitter, a lot more time is invested than just the workouts. SOOOO, with that said, I am happy with my light schedule BUT, I surely wouldn't mind having another client.... Guest guest
Not strange at all about not any face-to-face friends. I have like maybe 3 or 4, but even then. I only talk to them like once every few months or twice a year. I seldom spend any time with my friends. Just too busy, and don't enjoy " going out " like I used to.
