Hi Jen, I haven't been exercising that much lately and know I need to get back into it. I'd like to have someone to keep me accountable, so I can be more consistent. To think I was exercising consistently for a whole year, now I'm back to square one. I'd like to start out with 3 days per week, then work my way up to at least 5 or 6. Should we pick certain days to work out?

Hi Kerry, thanks for doing this with me, I really appreciate it! I think that it would be better to just play at by ear as far as which days we work out, as long as we both exercise three days this week. My schedule is pretty crazy and I would feel guilty if I couldn't work out a certain day because I was running around Michigan. Do you want to start today or Tuesday? Let me know. I started today! I was anxious to get off to a good start. Three days a week on whatever days sound good. I'll be thinking of you exercising and you can think of me.

Thank you for your encouragement Darcy. I have to do something as I'm not exercising and eating very unhealthy, so something has to give. I wish I had watched that Oprah show, that would have induced me to eat better I'm sure. I don't know what's wrong...I just can't seem to say no... I think I need to prepare more fruits and veggies so I don't go for the junk, and also keep the junk out of the house! I feel bad for DH and DD though, but the one thing they can have that I don't touch is ice cream, so that and raspberries is their treat lately, I just have the raspberries; no sugar.

Jen and I WILL do it, won't we Jen?

I'm filled with warm fuzzy feelings now : )

I've been reading tips on how to overcome stress eating over at Sparks People and found some good ideas. They suggested doing yoga or going for a walk instead of eating, and to keep moving.

Hi Jen,

I haven't done anything yet, but was planning on doing The Method Precision yoga today with Kries. Have fun walking on your treadmill. Let us know which DVD you did.

I was thinking that I would exercise on the days that I don't play volleyball or bowl. Tonight I played volleyball, so tomorrow I will do some other kind of exercise, probably a dvd and walk on my treadmill.
