Darcy,

I am so sorry to hear this about your back. Don't blame yourself, I'd do the same thing not thinking. The important thing now is to REST. Hopefully it will get better sooner then what you think.

Thank you , I hope you are right. I think in all of my years working out, this is the first time that I wil be totally out. I had that sore ankle for awhile, but at least then I could modify and do upper body and light cardio. W/ my back I'm totally out. Maybe after a few days or a week, I can add in some light upper... grr.. Only time will tell now, I suppose.

OMG darcy. i am so sorry to hear that your body is now yelling at

you for attention. it seems to have decided not to give you the

choice to rest or not. please give recovery longer than you think

is necessary so that the injury does not reoccur. i know that

this is hard for you, but i think that pampering is in order. time

for bubble baths and massage and stretching. take care,

:*carolyn.

oh, i meant to add that when you cant workout, at least you can

continue to work on your diet and water intake. so all is not lost

darcy ! also a good time to undertake a flexibility program.

What did you do to your back? Did you pull a

muscle? If you pulled a muscle try some heat or have

your husband rub on some icy hot.

Hope you feel better soon,

Jen

do you have stretching exercises you can do? Carolyn has a good point, you can work on your nutritional health and if there are some safe, healing stretches you can do you'll at least be able to move. Take care,

Oh Darcy, I'm so sorry to hear you are feeling this bad. STRETCH!!! That's what they'd tell you in physical therapy, and I know you know how to do all the stretches they'd give you.
