Barbara, back in November Rita of TLC Soaps and Sundries posted a Foot

Smoother recipe. She also warned that a pan be used rather than using this

in the tub as she said things like oatmeal, cornmeal, seeds and shells do

not dissolve and will build up over time.

Her recipe calls for

1/4 c. ground oatmeal

1/2 cup of any other scrubby items you like, sea salt, walnut shells,

cornmeal, pumice, avocado seeds, etc. I reduced the amount to 1/4 cup as

I don't like them too scratchy

Add the dry mixture to

1/2 to 3/4 cup of melted natural soap

2 to 4 Tbsp of sweet almond oil or any other oil you like

1 to 2 tsp of Vitamin E

5 to 10 drops of EO.

She also said you can adjust to make thinner or thicker by adding more oil

or warmed water, melted soap or dried ingred. Allow to cool to see how

thick it will be. Keep notes on amounts.

She recommends pouring the pan of used water outside when finished.

Thanks again Rita. Carol A2
