Guest guest
Listmates, For those of you who participated in the recent discussion about the patient with a suspected Morton's neuroma I recently had an opportunity to examine the individual. What I found was a shortened first toe (Morton's toe) that was causing a metatarsal inflammation in the adjacent toes mimicking neuroma type symptoms, there was also evidence of a shortened ilopsoas . The combination of those two stresses are what appeared to be the main causes of the patients' primary complaint. A pad was then inserted under the first toe and the iliopsoas contraction was released, patient stated that she could feel an immediate change in the severity of her foot pain. Herb Freeman D.C.
